Forest Floor

From 1998- 2003, many evenings, late into the night I worked on a series of oil pastels. I had been creating art environments all my life, and had developed strong feelings of closeness and empathy towards the woodlands and streets I knew. Through the oil pastel pictures I could visit a world in my imagination and express these feelings. The world I went into was magical, and hidden and in some ways I find it hard to talk about. They have rarely been shown, but I have selected ten of these original works for my current exhibition at The Pilgrm Hotel in Paddington.
