Discarded chewing gum from the street, on found and renovated brick. Painted on acrylic enamel and burnished with a blow torch. A miniature painting of Pittenweem, a fishing village in the East Neuk of Fife.
Signed on the back and dated on the side. Signature and date also within the painting, with the words Pittenweem Gumpic Scotland.
These unusually large bricks measure approx 31cm x 14.5 x 8cm. They have been hand made and are very old.
